(John O'Groats - Lands End)
Starting 20th June 2008 Dave and Nick, two psychiatric nurses and corrupt manager Steve aim to cycle John O'Groats to Lands End, unsupported in 9 Days. They will be joined by Dr Steve for most of Scotland. The reason for this madness is to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society and promote awareness of the disease and its massive impact on both sufferers and their families.

What a great ride. To be honest I was little worried before we started that I wouldn't last, yes I struggled a tad on a couple of the big climes bit other than that I nailed the dam thing. With Dave's thorn in his tire (hee hee) and Nicks bent chain its highlights the need for preparation. Anyway goo ride and role on la Jogle.
PS Being being Nick wasn't too pleasant, as his bottom rippled with every bump
Thanks for the photo Nick, I look rather fat! Mind you when I work out to post Photo's on this technical thing there'll be the one or yer belly xx
it was a top ride! I feel reasonably confident for the Jogle now.
I did try to get your slimmest angle and that was it. I am a bit worried you were paying so much attention to my rippling behind!
Nick, being honest there was nothing else one could see whilst ridding behind you, Enjoy your day at the races with the boys

Fortunately i didn't have much of a view of said posteriors as I was on the front doing all the hard work for these two. Hope this is'nt going to be the pattern for 1000 miles!!!
Er if you say so old man. Wasn't that you I dropped by about 20 mins on the hill out of Dulverton and then obliterated when you feebly tried to attack on the run back to Exeter?
Ladies ladies please. Just for the record I was the fastest down the hills. And before you say it Nick I am not the fattest, that accolade is yours...
Have you the gps data to prove it? I think we will have to call in the governing body to adjudicate. Bit gutted Dave was faster than me down that hill AND he got around the corner on a flat tyre without hitting the Beemer. Not bad Dave.
Actually I think Dave maybe a Zombie. That is the only way that his heart rate can be that low.
I am proud to be the fattest, I have worked hard with hours and hours of training to build my tummy to the perfect rounded shape. It is a thing of beauty.
If you say so Mr Blobby
My bike handling skills come to the fore yet again.
COUGH*Bull*COUGH
Found a good article says Dave can't get it up (his HR) because he has no muscles. Thats what it is.

For obvious reasons no pics will be printed showing Nick in lycra, as this would clearly be upsetting and may distress all our viewers.
Hey that hurt!
